Gender Equality & Anti-Discrimination Committee
The Gender Equality and Anti-Discrimination Committee of the University of Peloponnese is dedicated to promoting gender equality and eliminating all forms of discrimination within the academic environment. By fostering a culture of social acceptance, respect, and diversity, the Committee ensures that every member of our academic community thrives in a fair and inclusive atmosphere.
Diversity and equality are fundamental values of our Institution. We invite all students and staff members to explore our initiatives, stay informed, and actively contribute toward a more just and open academic environment.
Core Pillars & Key Activities
The Committee operates across four main strategic axes to uphold equality in all university processes:

Education & Awareness Raising
Organizing educational campaigns and events to raise community awareness about sexism, sexual harassment, and any form of harassing behavior, cultivating a firm culture of mutual respect and understanding.
Policy & Program Development
Supporting the formulation and application of progressive policies that enhance equal access, diversity, and active participation in academic life for all community members without exception.
Monitoring & Evaluation
Actively monitoring, assessing, and refining equal opportunity policies to ensure continuous improvement and agile adaptation to the evolving needs of the University of Peloponnese community.
