General Framework: Undergraduate students possess all rights and benefits provided for students of the 1st cycle of studies of the University of Peloponnese, except for the rights to healthcare insurance, free textbooks, free catering, and free housing.
Institutional & Administrative Rights
Legal Entitlements: Students enjoy all academic, administrative, and social rights deriving from Greek legislation, the internal regulations of the University of Peloponnese, and the operating regulations of the IDS Program.
Active Participation: Students retain the right to participate in all academic procedures that concern them, alongside the ability to submit formal requests, objections, and administrative appeals through designated channels.
Data Privacy & GDPR: Full protection of personal data and academic records is guaranteed, strictly complying with the current institutional framework and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Campus Infrastructure & Digital Access
Educational Facilities: Full right of access to the University's educational, laboratory, and physical infrastructure, including libraries and specialized laboratories.
Digital Platforms & Software: Provision of an institutional email account and seamless access to modern learning environments and cloud collaboration suites, such as eClass, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace.
Technical Support: Access to the institution's technical support helpdesk services to ensure prompt resolution of digital platform or network issues.
Academic Guidance & Transparency
Academic Advisory (Professor Advisor): Entitlement to continuous academic guidance, support, and updates from faculty members, the designated Professor Advisor, and the Program staff regarding curriculum organization, course selections, and BSc thesis completion.
Complaints & Objections Mechanism: Students are entitled to submit formal complaints or objections under an objective, transparent, and robust quality-assured management mechanism that guarantees impartial and effective dispute resolution.
Study Timeline Extensions & Suspensions
Extension of Duration of Study: The possibility of extending the studies is available upon submitting a reasoned request, subject to approval by the Senate of the University of Peloponnese. This extension cannot exceed two (2) years beyond the regular duration of the curriculum.
Suspension of Attendance (Leave of Absence): A justified suspension of studies for up to one (1) year may be requested due to documented reasons (health, financial, professional, military service, or force majeure). The years under approved suspension are not counted toward the maximum allowed duration of regular studies.
